Incluso la misma ORPIA hizo un<a href=\"https:\/\/ecopoliticavenezuela.org\/2021\/06\/29\/comunicado-orpia-ante-la-necesidad-de-proteger-los-territorios-indigenas-ancestrales-en-la-amazonia-venezolana\/\">\u00a0comunicado en el 2021\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0denunciando esta grave situaci\u00f3n que involucra casos de desapariciones, esclavitud moderna, desplazamientos forzados, violaciones y asesinatos.<\/p>\n<p>Es importante resaltar que el l\u00edder ind\u00edgena y guardia territorial Uwottujja Virgilio Trujillo, asesinado el a\u00f1o pasado, proven\u00eda de la comunidad de Pendare.
